About jeremy hurst

Jeremy was born and raised in Rochester, England in 1961 and attended University College London where he obtained a BSc Hons. degree in Land Studies. He relocated to the Cayman Islands on an 18-month contract in 1987 and 26 years later still lives there having put down strong roots in the community. Jeremy owns and operates a group of companies offering property and investment related services to private investors, corporations and developers in the Cayman Islands and other Caribbean markets. These include International Realty Group Ltd. IRG, International Relocation Consultants Ltd. and Cayman Office Concepts Ltd. As Broker/Owner of IRG Jeremy is closely involved with the firms’ clients and is involved in all significant transactions. He works closely to deliver value and service through a team approach working alongside the company’s other agents and bringing his 30 years of experience in the property industry to the table. Jeremy has an in-depth understanding of the Cayman and Caribbean property markets having been retained by major corporations including developers, investors and lending institutions to provide market analysis and commentary on their behalf. Having developed property himself, he also has a full understanding of the design, planning and construction processes as well as the sales and marketing elements involved in any successful project. He served as Past President of the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association from 2008 to 2011, was a founder of the Cayman Islands Investment Council, has and continues to advise the Cayman Islands Government in a number of property related capacities as well as being closely involved in a number of Youth and Anti-Drug initiatives within the community including Chairing Cayman’s first Choose to be Drug Free Week in 1989. Jeremy is a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman, becoming its youngest-ever President in 1995. He went on to become Assistant Governor for the Cayman Islands from 2000 to 2003 and is currently Governor Elect for Rotary District 7020 in the Northern Caribbean for 2013/14. Jeremy is a Major Donor, Benefactor and Bequest Society Member of The Rotary Foundation, and a member of District 7020’s Paul Harris Society and has presented at a number of international Rotary functions.
