George Town, Cayman Islands – June 2026 — Four more Caymanians have benefited from grants through the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association's (CIREBA) First-Time Caymanian Homebuyers Grant Programme.

Established to help reduce some of the costs associated with purchasing a first home, the programme continues to provide practical financial support to eligible first-time Caymanian buyers. Funded through CIREBA's dedicated CI$200,000 programme, qualifying applicants can receive grants of up to CI$5,000.

Since launching earlier this year, the programme has supported a growing number of Caymanians on their journey to homeownership while complementing Government's existing stamp duty concession initiative for first-time Caymanian buyers.

"Homeownership is an important milestone for many Caymanians, and we're proud to see the programme continuing to make a positive difference," said Brian Wight, President of CIREBA. "Every grant awarded represents another opportunity for an individual or family to take that important first step towards owning a home."

The programme is available to qualifying first-time Caymanian homebuyers who have received Government approval for a stamp duty concession and are represented by a CIREBA member agent.

To qualify for the grant, applicants must:
   • Be a first-time Caymanian homebuyer
   • Have received Government approval for a stamp duty concession
   • Be represented by a CIREBA member agent

Grant amounts are based on the property's purchase price for qualifying homes valued up to CI$600,000 (some restrictions may apply).

Applications remain open. Submissions must be made within fourteen days of closing and be accompanied by the relevant supporting documentation.
"CIREBA is committed to supporting initiatives that help make homeownership more accessible," added Mr. Wight. "Through the continued support of our member agents and in partnership with Government's existing initiatives, we're pleased to help more Caymanians achieve the dream of owning their first home."

For more information about the programme, eligibility criteria and the application process, prospective applicants are encouraged to contact a CIREBA member agent.
