George Town, Cayman Islands – May 2026 — The Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association (CIREBA) is pleased to announce that a second group of first-time Caymanian homebuyers have now received the CIREBA grant.

CIREBA’s programme has a dedicated CI$200,000 fund providing eligible Caymanian buyers with grants of up to CI$5,000 to help ease some of the costs associated with purchasing a first home.

“Helping Caymanians achieve homeownership is something CIREBA and its members are deeply committed to,” said Brian Wight, President of CIREBA. “We are proud to see more first-time buyers benefit from the initiative and take this important step toward owning a home.”

Recipient Nathaniel J. Gonzalez shared his appreciation following the presentation.

“Thank you for today and for the warm welcome from the CIREBA team. I really appreciate the opportunity and all the support throughout the process,” he said.

“It was great meeting everyone at the office, and I’m very grateful for everything CIREBA is doing to help young Caymanians get started in property ownership.”

To qualify for the grant, applicants must:
• Be first-time Caymanian homebuyers
• Have received Government approval for a stamp duty concession
• Be represented by a CIREBA member agent

Please contact a CIREBA member for more information.

Grant amounts are determined by the property purchase price for properties valued up to CI$600,000 (some restrictions may apply).

CIREBA’s programme works alongside Government’s existing stamp duty concession initiative for first-time Caymanian buyers and forms part of a broader collaborative effort between the public and private sectors to support greater access to homeownership opportunities for Caymanians.

Applications for the programme continue to be accepted, with submissions required within fourteen days of closing and accompanied by the relevant supporting documentation.

“We can already see the positive impact CIREBA’s programme is having for Caymanians entering the property market,” added Mr. Wight. “We remain committed to supporting initiatives that make homeownership more accessible for future generations.”
